Linda Lindsay, CFP® is fiercely committed to guiding women and families to confidently and with peace of mind develop a clear vision for their life and then take action to make that vision a reality.
If you’re looking for a proven professional who can guide you to address your personal finance challenges and transitions, you’ve come to the right place. “With more than twenty years of corporate finance and more than three years of personal finance experience working with amazing clients guiding them to achieve remarkable success, my mission and commitment is to help clients flourish and succeed in their life goals.
My path to becoming a personal financial advisor began when I was 11 and realized that I would be providing advice to others as a career. When I started college, I knew it would be through the lens of Finance. Thirty years later, I am still doing it, only now rather than guiding decisions within corporations, I am helping families make decisions today that will shape and ensure their future.
What lights me up about this work is seeing clients take action to move towards their life goals with confidence and peace of mind.
You can feel confident engaging me to guide you because my expertise has been honed with an MBA in Finance and have been awarded the Certified Financial Planner Professional designation, which most consider the “gold standard” in the personal finance world. Additionally, I am fee-only advisor and a fiduciary for my clients.
Here are three things about me and my experience that might surprise you:
- I have done pro bono financial planning to help women who cannot afford to pay for financial advice. Two examples of this kind of work include developing a financial plan for a recently divorced woman that illustrated how she could use her settlement and part-time work to still achieve her life goals and I helped save the home for a single woman who had lost her job.
- I am blessed to have a blended family of my own with a 30-year age spread and two still at home to enjoy.
- I am a diligent optimist. As William Somerset Maughm said: “It is a funny thing about life – if you refuse to accept anything but the very best, you often get it!”
